Meet Khristian Silvis

Khristian Silvis is a veteran, wife, mother of two, and someone who has always prioritized service to her country and community. Now, as a candidate for State Representative in the 84th district, she’s ready to bring that same level of commitment to the State House in Lansing.

Khristian began her journey of service in the U.S. Army while on tour in Afghanistan as a combat medic. There, she learned first-hand the importance of leadership, teamwork, and resilience, skills that have stayed with her throughout her career.

After her time in the military, Khristian continued serving her community by working alongside former U.S. Representative Sean Patrick Maloney as his Director of Military & Veterans Affairs.

Her and her family moved to West Michigan to establish her roots and build upon the work she did prior with U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten as her District Director. In this role, she worked to connect people with the resources they needed and to ensure their voices were heard in Washington, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities facing Michigan families.

Her experiences, from her tour in Afghanistan to her advocacy work in West Michigan, have shaped Khristian’s approach: listening closely, acting decisively, and putting people first. She’s running for State House to bring that same focus and dedication to her neighbors in Michigan’s 84th District.
